The charity Absolutely Leisure is founded with the aim of bringing affordable, modern and accessible leisure facilities to the Berkshire community.
Why Absolutely?
We have three ultra-modern gyms across Berkshire, with additional sports facilities available at our Langley site. We’re big believers that fitness should be enjoyable and our aim is to make being active and staying healthy easy, fun and affordable.
We’re also a not-for-profit organisation and all profits go towards our gym charity Absolutely Together to aid its work with families who have children and young adults with additional needs.

History
June 2013
Absolutely Leisure expands its leisure offering with the opening of Absolutely Fitness Slough.
October 2013
Absolutely Fitness Langley launches and, in addition to a gym, we bring extra outdoor and indoor leisure facilities to the local community.
December 2013
The opening of Absolutely Fitness Bracknell completes a trio of gyms that we launch in one year. The month also sees us welcome our 5,000th member.
November 2014
Our Bracknell gym celebrates being named as a runner-up in the Best New Gym in the UK category at the National Fitness Awards.
April 2015
We celebrate our 10,000th member across all three gyms.
November 2016
The National Fitness Awards once again recognise what our Bracknell site offers the community by naming it as a runner-up in the Best Gym in the South category.
April 2017
Our 15,000th member joins Absolutely Fitness.
July 2017
Due to ongoing success, the gym at our Langley site is doubled in size.
November 2018
Our membership keeps growing and we welcome our 20,000th membership sign-up
July 2019
As part of the Absolutely Together charity, we launch our Sunday Smiles programme to give free gym sessions to disabled children and their families every Sunday.
November 2019
We are once again recognised by the prestigious National Fitness Awards. This time our Langley site is named as a runner-up in the Education Facility of the Year category.
January 2020
In line with our commitment to offer excellence, our Slough fitness centre is the first low-cost gym in the UK to install the innovative Biocircuit equipment.
December 2020
To help ensure everyone can find the confidence to achieve their fitness goals, we expanded the ladies only gym at our Bracknell site.
August 2021
The Hero Arena at the Absolutely Fitness Slough gym receives a full refurbishment, providing an exclusive area for gym goers to use some of the best functional training equipment around!
October 2022
Absolutely Together partners with Dacorum Sports Trust, expanding the charity further. New sites that are now part of Absolutely Together includes our sister gym brand in Hemel Hempstead called Our Gym!
Summer 2023
Our Bracknell gym gets a minor make-over, with the spin studio completely re-vamped to now include state of the art lighting systems and new equipment. Changing rooms and other areas are also modernized.
Januay 2024
Absolutely Fitness Langley launches the year with a fully refurbished gym, featuring new equipment, lighting, flooring and much more!
